The new Donic Zhang Jike Original Carbon blade features the same combination of layers as the blade Zhang Jike used during his playing career. The Chinese world and Olympic champion collaborated closely with the DONIC development department, which precisely implemented his specifications: an extremely lightweight Kiri wood inner veneer, clad with Ayous veneers, and two layers of Cured Aramid Carbon.
Two layers of African Koto hardwood make up the outer veneer. Zhang Jike was not only an extremely ambitious player who perfected his technique, but now he does the same in material development.
