The Dr. Neubauer MATADOR TEXA blade is based on a similar plywood composition to the classic MATADOR, but has been enhanced with selected fiber material for a total of 9 plies. This results in a slightly faster blade with high power for a modern offensive game. Both fast topspins and high-spin loop balls can be performed without any problem.
At the same time, MATADOR TEXA is highly effective in combination with spike and Anti-Spin rubbers.
The wood produces a low rebound both when blocking passively and when blocking aggressively with long picks. As with our existing MATADOR, maximum spin reversal can be produced while locking in with our frictionless Anti-Spin rubbers. Despite the high speed of the racket, it allows very short blocks with this type of rubber. Finally, it allows a very dynamic attacking game with spiked offensive rubbers.
