The professional table tennis blade Nittaku Septear is a blade made of 7 layers of Kiso Hinoki wood. Hinoki is normally only used sparingly, but this wood sets itself apart from the rest by using only Hinoki in its construction. Despite the 7-ply and thick construction, Nittaku Septear wood is surprisingly light. It is a fast offensive wood with a soft touch that is perfectly suited to players who play with a lot of topspin.
