The Spinlord Carbon Spin DEF blade is a fast defensive blade that significantly increases spin and disruptive effect (in combination with long or anti pimples), all of which is made possible by a new combination of veneers never seen before and therefore kept secret. In any case, it is the same as the Carbon Spin ALL, the only difference is the significantly larger hitting surface (approx. 162 x 155 mm).

The outer veneers are made of walnut, and there are also 2 layers of carbon (total of 7 (5+2) veneers).

Due to the enlarged hitting surface, this blade is a bit heavier on the top, but not as much as the other blades we offer with an enlarged hitting surface.

Despite the larger hitting surface, the DEF version is still quite stiff, but the ball impact is surprisingly soft and sensitive.

The handles are a bit thicker and fit well in the hand. The handles are made of Ayous dyed in Italy.

The playing behaviour is, in contrast to the balsa-like feel of the OFF variant, very linear and allows for very precise ball placement.

We can actually recommend this blade to all defensive players who tend to play more offensively, but should not be averse to stiff blades or carbon. It can be combined well with all types of rubbers, for example there are no long pimples that are better or worse suited to this blade.

It is a fast blade although not as fast as the Ultra Carbon DEF (2021), but faster than all other blades with an enlarged face.
