The Stiga Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition blade is an innovative offensive table tennis blade that can be adjusted for weight and balance with included 3, 6 and 9 gram weights.

It's important to me to be able to adjust the weight of the blade to different playing environments. This allows me to influence the mass of the blade and, combined with the size and power of the blade in my shots, creates kinetic energy.
The heavier the wood, the more power and energy is generated at a certain speed. The 9 gram weight (named after my slap shot) is perfect, for example, because more weight means more speed. The heavier weight also works well when playing in a large stadium, which is often experienced as a "slow" environment. The lowest weight, 3 grams, is great for smaller training venues or other perceived "faster" environments. With STIGA CWT, it's easy for me to fine-tune the blade for my unique gaming preferences.
Born in 2002 in the Swedish town of Hovmantorp, Truls Möregårdh has become Sweden's brightest table tennis star in record time. At 17, Truls made it to Japan's top league, and during the 2021 world championships in Houston, he used his Cybershape blade to win the silver medal in the final against Fan Zhendong.
Customize the balance according to your personal preferences
Depending on where the blade's center of gravity is, we talk about a high center of gravity, a low center of gravity, or a balanced neutral blade. If the center of gravity is toward the top of the blade, it is called a high center of gravity; if, on the other hand, it is at the bottom, it is a low center of gravity. What different players prefer is very individual and depends on their playing style, previous experience and rubber weight. The weight of the different rubbers also varies, so being able to adjust the weight of the blade gives you the opportunity to adjust and find the perfect balance for you.
A lower overall weight is suitable for players who stay close to the table and prefer a fast-paced game.
The increased weight generates more kinetic energy, resulting in more powerful strokes.

Optimized hitting area and larger sweet spot
Our research has shown that for most players, their optimum hitting area is in the top half of the blade. That's why we've optimized the striking area to be larger compared to the traditional shape of the upper half of the blade and slightly smaller in the lower half to maintain the balance of the blade.
In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), we have also tested the vibration properties of the Cybershape, i.e. how the blade moves. Testing has shown that the Cybershape has a larger sweet spot positioned higher on the blade than a standard shape, giving you more power on your shots without losing control of the ball.
Optimized hitting area closer to the table surface
Since the ball generally hits the top half of the racket (both backhand and forehand), that's exactly where the Cybershape really shines. One of the distinctive features of the Cybershape design is that on your round and short game you get a full 6.5cm closer to the surface of the hitting area, compared to 2.5cm for a round racket. This gives you more chances of getting short services and returns.
With the unique shape of the Cybershape, it's also easier to locate the ball in the hitting area you want while serving. Thanks to Cybershape's angles, you automatically have six corners as a base to aim at, depending on how much and what kind of twist you want.
