Dr. Neubauer Explosion Soft short pimples rubber is softer, more versatile and with very good control that sticks with a significantly softer sponge. The resulting increase in ball-to-racquet contact time provides noticeably greater control, both in the passive area (serve reception, driving, ball blocking) and in active play.

This new variant still offers a very good compromise between control, attack chances and disruptive effect.

Despite the very soft touch, EXPLOSION SOFT is a fast rubber that allows for penetrating play when used offensively and is surprisingly easy to play in general.

The general characteristics of the original EXPLOSION version have been preserved, so this new EXPLOSION SOFT version can be described as an all-purpose weapon with short pimples.

Thinner sponge thicknesses (1.2/1.5/1.8mm) offer more control and disruptive effect. With a thicker sponge, the rubber becomes faster but produces a slightly less disruptive spin.
